i think best to make a bazooka for it, can use PVC pipe to make... keep away from sunlight... i think RODs r not so hard to maintain, the reels r the ones that really need to be serviced before keeping away. Can use WD-40 to wipe it clean first to avoid any rust.

a BAZOOKA is good for it,but i been try once that  it broke to 2  pc after so long i didn't use it about 4 years...the rod is 50 lb use for bottom fishing and it just can't handle the fish like usual,i got the fish i think its about 15~20 kg and the rod just hold on for 5mins may be less...is it keep it too long will make the rod not stong like usual,just use it for boat fishing about 10 times

In my opinion, the better solution would be storing the rod in a customised cupboard.

Well, most of us are having more than 1 rod, for example, jigging rod, bottom rod, trolling rod, luring rod, etc. etc.

Storing in a bazooka is a reasonable but limited solution, big bazooka from Plano might be able to house a maximum of 5 rods ? (assume 3 casting + 2 spinning). Extra precaution are required on the guides, especially the top guide and the last guides on the spinning rods, to prevent them from damage by rubbing against each other.

If you have invest that much in rods, surely a wooden DIY cupboard from Giant or Carrefour are not such an luxury anymore. Moreover, other tackles such as tackle box and reels can be housed in the cupboard as well.

ha !the rod brand LEMAX VIP  ,photo i don't have cause not expert in hitech things like.......paste photo on web.... ,even go boat fishing that much time i also didn't take photo,cause all my friends also don't like photo i think.. ,the rod i just lie it stand on wall ,of cause put on some clothing like...cloth on it (too many fishing things till 1 don't have space to get a cupboard in my room..... )


*all the rod i just lie it on wall 1 by 1 ,the light weight rod don't have that kind of problem, now i try to get ugly stik be my 1st choice*

ha ha ! i start busy last few years till i almost forgot my hobby----fishing ,free now i am half retire now   , start the fishing game last year and found a lot of fishing rod got problem ,feel sad cause some rod follow me to a battle of fishing war for so many years   just spend a lot money buy all the fishing things brand new and try to keep all the parts in tip-top condition from now on even may be or some day i will take a unexpected resting from fishing.
