I agree with what Joeygo said. For me, it just the matter of fishing time. For sure, it will affect the result.

day fishing..... can see everthing...not takut.... if ada matari...hot la.... n not tired lor..

if night ah...... wa....especially u go to jungle or many rumput punya tempat....  nyamuk.... n den fish too long liao sure

diffrent is night more danger la..... than day time....

but snakehead always ppl fish siang ler...... y night u go to fish snake head?
day time it want to bite oso la..... no need night time go la.......

what type of snakehead are you asking for? Haruan? Tomman? Bujuk? or Tomman Bunga? Differeent type of snakeHead show different characters. And with different type of fishing during day and night time.

Well At nite of cause feel better, 1st point is you don't know any fish there to eat your bait or not.
2nd, is can't guess how big the fish which already got hooked.
At day time you can see the spot and when fish hooked you can expect how big the fish is.

By the way, normally fish snakehead is in the bushes or maybe in the jungle. I don't think we should take this risk to try fish it at night, it is really dangerous.

For what i have learn is that, snakehead like tomman difficult to get hooked at night, and it is diificult to cast for haruan because of the sight at night among rigs and bushes. You might lost lots lots of lures and leader or fishing accessories, and you might hooked on "Big Thing"--- your partner beside you!

Hi! Since you said you are Jeff's friend, why don't you register an account for yourself so we don't get confused.
As for day or night fishing on snakehead, I can't really give a good answer to that. If you mean haruan and you intend to use life bait, perhaps it is not so hard. But if you are talking about casting lures, you might want to reconsider that. Night fishing is always seem very "mystical" to me. Feels like you can get big fish at night. Which is, quite true in a way. This is because of it's size, if it hunts during day time, it's prey could have seen it far away and escape long before it could catch it's prey. But usually this applies to those fish that has "night vision" like Barramudi where you can see it's eyes reflect light just like cats and dogs. As for Tomman, Haruan and other snakeheads, I'm not too sure about it. But please be extra careful at night. Especially if you are trying to fish in the jungle or forest's pond and river. Water source attracts lots of animals at night and I'm sure meeting face to face with wildboar, elephants and TIGERs is not in your list of adventure!

for me.....if u want to find the snakehead at the day time i tink not much time we can use 2 fish them..as we know tat the snakehead dislike the sunlight n hot weather..so mayb only can fish at 6am-11am than 4pm-8pm....but its more safety for the ppl who like to search the snakehead.....if fish at the night than sure more dangerous for us...but we can get more fish at the night..please forgive my broken english .....
