The reel is shimano sustain 8000 fe , it has a max drag of 29lb , can be use in fresh water or salt water . it is a strong reel .This reel can go for jigging and popping but i do not know which lb line to be use so that it can do popping and jigging .

hw big is ur reel???if it is 8000 ,,u can try tuf line or powr pro 40lbs...........!!!
