Sorry friend, you are too far away from KL. Other wise you are welcome to join me on my fishing trip. I do a lot of fresh water fishing. My suggestion is you join the seniors to go fishing and ask them to teach and guide you along the way.

Try to follow your senior friend or uncle to fish 1st, they will teach you alot of thing.
and its much safer as not like semenanjung malaysia, not quite sure whether your river in Sibu got croc AK buaya or not.

lol... buaya... not that serious la... what i mean is fish at jeti or somewhere else... on higher ground... not like go to hutan n fish~ lol...
anyway thx for the suggestion...
i'll try to find someone "senior" in sibu to help me out... if got good stuffs sure will share share with u guys...

Q1,
  Weight is only for a purpose to bring the baits down to base of the river, so it doesn't need special tie method. Only need to consider which level you want you bait to be hanging in the water or rest on the base of the river.
Q2.
There only 2 methods of hook the flour bait, which are cover the whole hook with flour bait or just cover the sharp part of the hook with flour bait.
Q3.
Fish normally active during 6 to 10am and 5 to 7pm. But this doesn't stop you for fishing whole day long.

This is my own way for fishing, hope can help you.

Q1Q3 understood... but...
Q2 ... do i need to cover a lot? like a 1 "grape" size? coz i saw many of them put the bait on the hook that much~

For Q2, it is up to you either to make it like a size of a grape which will cover the whole hook or just cover half of the hook. The important point here is you have to cover the tip of the hook. Sorry I don't have any photo to show you... a picture tells a thousand words...
