Here's some pics taken from this trip but mostly after all the fishing action cos was too busy concentrating on my catch lol as i said earlier i had the least catch amongst all hehe

here's some more for the sharing which was 1 GOOD & GREAT experience experience as well. Have you ever seen in real life wif ur own very eyes, just less than 1 meters away from u, an at least 10ft long great white shark?? and about 3ft in width?? well, from this trip i manage too.

Lou Yu fought it for about 2hours 30mins before bring it up to the surface and caught ALL of us in a surprise. For me it just freak me out lol. At first i wanted to help up to carry his catch up. So i grab the "kau" and headed to lou yu. But once i saw it was that huge monster, i right away back away hehe. well thats the result of watching too much JAWS or any kind of shark movies where it can just jump up and grab their victim lol. I backed up and just put back the "kau". They all then decided not to bring it up fearing the concequenses it might get us into, so they cut off the line. We were pretty sure that big aSs shark weigh about 200kg AT LEAST!! hehe... what an experience aye??

Because of that catch of Lou Yu's, it cause alot of havoc on the boat and alot of line mess hehe... good thing i didnt fish at that time, otherwise i'll loose ALOT of line hehe. few of them got into trouble with line mess.

Till today i can still imagine that huge great white shark i saw that very night. after it was let go, all those who still continued fishing ended up only catching more sharks. And last decided to stop for the moment knowing that its just more sharks down there rather than all the other fishes

Among the fishes that we caught were:-
Ruby Snapper
Pelahan
Ajinomoto (first time heard and saw this fish)
Lutun
Giant Grouper (aka Gelatang)
Amberjack (Only 1 by Martin weighing at 8kg)
Sea Durian
Kerisi
White Shark
etc etc etc

actually there's a few more other types of fish which were caught but cant recall their names. Even there's a few that i caught i dun even know what kind of fish is it lol

Other than that i get to see 3 rods broken during trying to get their catch up.

Nong Nong broke his Lemax Amberjack rod PE6
Eugene broke his Daiwa Monster Mesh PE2-4
Liew broke his Jig-Zam PE2-5

Felt so lucky i didnt broke any hehe. Cos i have the same Daiwa Monster Mesh PE2-4 but didnt dare to bring it along lol.

Oh ya, a very special thanks to Ah Nga for borrowing me his Shimano Dendao-Maru 4000HP electric reel + Jig-Zam PE4-6 Rod + 500+ Meters of 80lbs line. Cos without that i think i'll DIE reeling up my manual Shimano Ocea Jigger 5000P lol. I did for a few time used my Ocea Jigger but its just way too tiring reeling it up lol. 170-220meters depth ler.... super kick lol

So with Ah Nga's electric reel it pretty much made my fishing trip alot more enjoying hehe... thanks Ah Nga

I've decided that i get 1 myself soon too. cos after comparing between X4/X5 and 4000HP, here's the outcome:-
1) X4/X5 can fit in more lines where as 4000HP max would probably be 600meters of 80lbs
2) X4/X5 seems to have heat up problem. It heats up fast. Unlike 4000HP, it just never heat up when i use it (bare in mind i kept changing my bait so lots of up n down)
3) X4/X5 faster?? hmmm... thats what i been hearing but i've tried comparing a few times with andy and lou yu who was next to me both using X4 and found out, i tend to reach bottom earlier (the fact that 4000hp does have motor support when line out as well) and i tend to reached up slightly faster than them. But maybe they wasnt using full battery powered (X4/X5 can control speed base on battery usage)
4) X4/X5 uses up battery power faster in a way (but yet to be proven), Nong Nong's battery went flat towards the 3 day. he was using wet cell and i was using dry cell battery so cant really compare it that way.
5) Lenght accuracy?? there were 9 x CX4, 2 x CX5, 2 x 4000HP and when comparing all X4/X5 gives different depths... with a huge difference even for some. and for both 4000HP, it seems to be giving a very close lenght. And i notice it for a few time just to prove to myself.
6) X4/X5 super loud lol

well, thats all i found out so far after comparing between shimano and command electric reels. till then, we can also discuss on this hehe... cos i havent buy it so maybe something could change my mind or make me more confidence in getting 4000HP hehe

Here's some pic of my catch taken after i got home. Total catch = 28. In pic only 18. Where the 10 gone to?? Once my neighbour knew that i was back from fishing, they all came to for some fresh fish hehe

What did i do to my 5.6kg Ruby Snapper?? Cut into 3 parts then headed to Lutong cafe and got them to do Curry Fish Head, Deep Fry with Sweet and Sour sauce for the body and Steam Teo Chew style for the tail hehe.... 9 of us barely even could finish it hehe
